Brunkild , MB
MK Agro was established in 2010 by Brent MacLean and Paul Kaminsky, and is locally owned and operated near Brunkild, MB. Brent and Paul, and the rest of their team, work diligently to provide exceptional customer service and agronomic advice to their growers. They have one of the largest CPIC warehouses in the area and have now expanded to include a seed treatment facility, as they are committed to providing additional value to their growers.
The staff at MK Agro ranks customer service at the top of their list, and they do it with a smile! Their agronomic knowledge and dedication to providing the best product solutions to their growers is second to none. They are devoted to helping their customers be profitable and confident in the decisions they make on their farm, and work towards a sustainable industry as a whole. Beyond offering a complete crop inputs line, fertilizer, seed, crop protection, the retail goes above and beyond with their custom spraying, custom planting, agronomy, and seed delivery service. Myself and our surrounding neighbors want to thank and recognize Benji, Paul, Albert, Kass and Connie for all the work they do to ensure the success of our farm and that we are profitable year after year

In October of 2017, the community of Sanford lost a great man and a dear friend to many, Kelly Kabernick. Kelly was a young father of five, and he and his wife Christine had farmed the family farm for the last 17 years. A foundation has been set up in Kelly’s name aimed to develop the town in which he contributed to for so many years. Kelly loved farming, loved family and loved his community and we feel to honor him and all he stood for, the foundation will support The Sanford Recreation Centre, the Sanford Greenspace Project, and the Lighthouse Mission.
If MK Agro were to win this year’s Thank-A-Retailer contest, all funds would be donated to the Kelly Kabernick Foundation to keep the memory of this carefree, fun-loving, and full of joy husband, father and friend alive.
