This retailer just recently took over from an existing independent retailer. The staff remained the same and so did the quality of service, even though there is a new sign above the door. They go above and beyond in after hours service. They are honest and passionate about agriculture and this community. They are constantly trying to maximize savings for the customers and are very good about calling with special offers for their loyal clients. The staff is also very active in the community - coaching hockey and volleyball, serving on school council and other organizations, volunteering at other special events.
We want to say thank you because too often ag retailers only hear things from their clients when things go wrong - a load is late, the chemical didn't work up to expectations, the prices are too high. We just wanted to say Thank you for all the great service that they probably think goes unnoticed but it doesn't!
Staff coaches volleyball at the school and hockey at the local rink. Staff members manage a 4H loyalty program. One member serves as president of the local school council. They have sponsored a bake off for elementary children at the annual rodeo and were a platinum sponsor of the Kids Fun Zone at the rodeo too. They contribute prizes to the local annual Library fundraiser and cook sausages for the summer pancake breakfast. The list goes on and on!
People know the staff not only as business associates, but as friends too. It strengthens the relationship and trust level between us and leads to a more comfortable working relationship.
Their great and the money would go to a great cause in our community, I just know it!
The community is currently fundraising for several projects including a splash park and an outdoor classroom at the school. In addition to these, there are also many other ongoing organizations that the money could benefit like the volunteer fire department or the library. I think the staff should get to decide where the funds will go. I totally trust their judgement!
All of the causes that I mentioned are a core part of the community that would benefit locals and people passing though equally. As we all know, in the era of government cutbacks, every little bit counts.
Foremost is a great little community where everyone knows everyone else and we are a very generous community - both in funding and volunteerism. The people work hard to keep all their services going and improving. We are proud of our town. It is a great place to raise kids, live, work and do business.
