The Rack is an independent retail that serves 9 communities in Saskatchewan, with retails in Biggar, Perdue, Wilkie, Unity, North Battleford, Luseland, Rosetown and Broderick and an agronomy office in Swift Current. The Rack is committed to customer service and helping their customers be as efficient as possible. Staff work long hours to make sure customers have the products and advice that they need, when they need it. The Rack has an independent research division that provides reliable, scientific research results to their customers.
Rack employees go the extra mile to make customers happy. The Rack is committed to being involved in its communities and supporting various organizations within these communities.
The Rack is a major part of its various communities and supports many things annually including local hockey teams, rodeos and golf tournaments. The Rack has also donated inputs to various community field projects including a field in Perdue to raise money for the local arena that burnt down in May 2015. The Rack also donated to a Farming for the Future field in Unity that donates to local schools.
In 2016, the Rack hosted ‘Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Communities’ in each community. Ticket sales for the event were matched by the Rack and donated to an organization in each community. Through this event and other donations, the Rack has supported many organizations including the Biggar fire department, Rosetown Youth Building, STARS Foundation in Outlook, Unity School Community Council, Wilkie Community Centre Build Fund, Luseland Skating Rink, North Battleford Community Field, Perdue Arena Fund and Swift Current Regional Healthcare Foundation.
If the Rack were to win this contest they would continue to support various organizations in their communities including community centres and sports teams. I would also like the Rack to donate to STARS Air Ambulance. STARS is an important service that is especially needed in rural communities. I would also like to see the Rack donate to the local Fire and Rescue departments in their communities.
This money would go a long way to keeping these communities safe and thriving. Supporting local community centres, arenas, and sporting teams help bring a community together.
STARS Air Ambulance and local fire and rescue departments are critical services to these rural communities. By donating to these causes, they can continue to do their life-saving work.
